About Me

My name is Silas Wisell, and I am a freelance filmmaker based in New England. I was born in Middlebury, Vermont, and I graduated with a BFA at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan.

I would say I am quite versatile when it comes to all art and film! I have experience in the art department world with production design and art coordination, on set and post production audio experience as a boom operator/mixer, foley artist, and music composer, as well as screenwriting and songwriting abilities.

I love transforming concepts into captivating visual experiences, coordinating art department logistics, enhancing set aesthetics, and creating immersive soundscapes and film scores.
